Apple TV 1st generation (white) installation

Previously Patched ATV / Update / Manual Installation Instructions

If you already have Patchstick, ATVFlash, or another jailbreak with ssh enabled on your Classic Apple TV, or if you want to update Rowmote Helper, follow the steps below.


  • Mac users: Download and run the Rowmote Helper ATV Installer.  For it to work, your ATV and Mac must be on the same wireless network, and you must have completed the patchstick installation on your ATV.


               If you prefer to control the entire installation process yourself, you may also use the manual installation instructions. This is not needed if you use the Rowmote Helper ATV Installer application.
